Dean Bank Primary School offers a range of childcare provision which we have listed below:
3 Year Old Free Entitlement
We offer 15 hours free education for all, but also offer 30 hours for qualifying 3 year olds.

Wrap Around Care
Dean Bank Primary & Nursery School provides both Breakfast and After School Wrap Around Care. Breakfast Care runs from 8am and After School Provision runs until 6pm.
At Dean Bank Primary & Nursery Primary School, our Wrap Around Care is provided by well qualified school staff who are well known to the children. Activities vary daily.
It is the child’s choice what they would like to do and is either free choice or adult led.
We tailor our activities to the needs and desires of our children to ensure it is a pleasure for them to come to both our Breakfast and After School Care. We cater for a full range of pupils from our youngest to our oldest.

Example activities include:
- Outdoor play- free or adult led in playground
- Indoor dancing/games
- Creative Activities- free or adult led e.g. sewing, making, Playdough, colouring etc
- Construction – Lego
- Small World Play
