Following a range of activities related to the UK Parliament and democracy, including: a visit to training at the ‘Teachers’ Institute’ at Parliament in London; a whole school assembly about Parliament; a quiz for year 5 and 6 pupils and providing training to other teachers from schools around Durham, Miss Potts has been accredited as a UK Parliament Teacher Ambassador at the gold level. This provides an excellent opportunity for our pupils SMSC development, as we will gain access to further resources and events. Our next event will be taking place during Parliament Week, which runs from 14th – 20th November.
