Building upon our previous work towards the bronze and silver levels of the Woodland Trust’s Green Tree School Award, we have now earned the gold level of the award.
Miss Potts led an assembly ‘The Man Who Planted Trees’ for the upper school and then children in each class carried out work back in class linked to trees and woodland.
Year 3 created a fantastic tree rubbing and poem, years 5 and 6 drew some lovely woodland pictures and Year 1 created a nice class picture of a tree.
