PE Achievements Outside of School

pe achievements outside of school

Lots of our pupils attend sports clubs outside of school and have some great achievements that we should be proud of.

If you attend a sports club outside of school and have some news to share, please contact Mrs Hall. We would love to feature your achievements on the website and our sports notice board in school.

luna’s football success

Luna attended the BT Promotions girls’ football tournament at Flamingo Land last weekend with her team Bishop Auckland Girls. They played brilliantly throughout the tournament and won 6 matches which got them into the final.

In the final, Luna scored the winning goal so her team ended up as champions. We are so proud of her for this achievement, especially because she’s playing for an under 12s team, with most players a year older than her. What a star!

astrid’s dancing competition

We are so impressed with Astrid who recently performed at a Street Dancing competition. She even gave Y4 a display of her routine back in school!

boxing club

We recently had a visit from Coach Ron from Seconds Out boxing club who has told the children all about a free opportunity to go boxing after school.

They are running free sessions on Tuesday and Thursday nights at the Ferryhill Leisure Centre (Ferryhill Sports and Education Centre).

Lots of our pupils are attending the sessions and some of the Y6 children did some demonstrations in assembly.

jayden’s football award

Well done to Jayden for winning man of the match for his football team ‘Ferryhill under 11s’. It’s great to hear what you’ve all been up to outside of school and lovely to see more and more children joining local sports clubs.

alfie and max’s karate achievements

Well done to Alfie and Max for achieving new belts at their karate lessons.
Keep it up boys!

Harlie attends kickboxing classes and achieved an award for most improved student. She received a certificate and a trophy for all her hard work. Fantastic work, Harlie. We are very proud of you!
