Music in Action at Dean Bank
Year 2 Biggest Sing
Year 2 participated in the Young Voices Biggest Sing event which aimed to smash their own Guinness World Record™ for the Largest Simultaneous Sing Along. We joined children virtually from all over the UK, the US and the rest of the world to sing the iconic song ‘Lovely Day’ by Bill Withers with Billy Ocean, YolanDa Brown & Ruti, streamed live from The O2 arena. The event took place to raise vital funds in support of the children’s mental health charity, Place2Be. Music and singing are really important for mental health and we all loved taking part, especially in the fun body and vocal warm-ups before the event started.
