We have now achieved the silver Green Tree Schools Award, which is an award from the Woodland Trust that recognises work done in schools for completing environmental projects and encouraging outdoor learning.
Last half term, we earned more points to move from the bronze to silver award by completing these activities:
- The Eco-Team completed a questionnaire about outdoor learning and environmental issues in our school
- Year 6 entered a story writing competition involving writing a 500 word story that included a special tree
- Completing some lessons outside in our nature area
